Trade Safely in GODLY SIMULATOR
If it is not in the official window, it is not a trade.
Free-godly search traffic is catnip for scammers. GODLY SIMULATOR runs 12-player servers, which means a fresh godly is a public event. This page is the defensive playbook. Use it with the scam checklist and how to get godlys. It will not make you rich. It will keep the knife you already earned.
Rule 0
Items move through the in-game trade window or they do not move. Ground drops, “trust trades”, “I put it in MM2”, “verify on this website”, and “my cousin is a Starlighted admin” are all the same wipe.
The five scams that show up in this lobby
1. Go first. They offer a better knife, then leave when you confirm. If they need you to go first, they do not have the item.
2. MM2 crossover. They swear a GODLY SIMULATOR knife converts into Harvester. It does not. Different games, different inventories. Anyone mixing the two wants your MM2 account, your simulator knife, or both.
3. Discord verify. A QR or link “confirms the trade”. It steals the session cookie. Never paste .ROBLOSECURITY anywhere. That warning also lives on script safety.
4. Copycat places. They friend you out of GODLY SIMULATOR into GODLIES or a fake place with the same thumbnail. Confirm place ID 72643641699950 in the Roblox menu. Official URL is on the links hub.
5. Code for knife. They want your only godly before they “whisper the new code”. Real codes are free and public on the codes hub. They are never a tollbooth.
How to trade anyway (if you must)
- Rank both sides on the tier list and godly knives so you know who is overpaying.
- Screenshot both inventories before the window opens.
- Use the official window. Confirm names, not chat promises.
- If the window contents do not match the chat, cancel. Chat is not a contract.
- After success, screenshot again. Then leave the server so the same group cannot reverse-social you.
If you cannot explain why the offer is fair in one sentence, it is not fair. Walk.
New-account rules
- Do not trade your first godly in the lobby where it dropped. The whole server watched the crate.
- Do not show inventory in chat. “Inv” spam is a targeting flare.
- Do not accept “I’ll upgrade it for you” — there is no upgrade NPC that needs your knife in their inventory.
- Friends lists are not escrow. A new friend with a tiny account age is not safer than a stranger.
Finish getting started and own a starter loadout before you even enable trades, if the game lets you toggle them.
When you already got hit
Roblox support rarely rolls back simulator items. Report the user, screenshot the window, change your password if you clicked a link, and enable 2-step on the Roblox account. Then stop trading for a week. Tilt-trades after a wipe are how the second knife disappears.
Update the mental model: the leaderboards are not a marketplace. A top name whispering you is not a voucher.
What Starlighted can and cannot do
Starlighted Games can patch the place and post codes. They cannot DM you a recovery knife from a random username. Staff impersonators show up after every UPDATE. Check patch notes on this wiki and the official group, not a look-alike profile.
