GODLY SIMULATOR Controls
Stop eating the crate button. Map the HUD once.
GODLY SIMULATOR uses Roblox’s default R15 mover plus a collector HUD. The pain is not WASD. The pain is interact overlapping jump on mobile and shop overlapping codes on a crowded 12-player screen. This page is the layout. Use it with getting started on day one and with how to play once you are farming.
PC keyboard
- W A S D — move. Hold Shift if sprint exists; many Starlighted maps leave sprint off.
- Space — jump. Do not jump on crate prompts; you will cancel the purchase.
- Right mouse — camera. Shift-lock (left Shift or the lock icon) keeps the knife swing aligned with look direction.
- E or click — interact with pads, crates, and NPCs. If E does nothing, the prompt wants a click on a GUI button instead.
- Esc — Roblox menu. Confirm you are still in place
72643641699950if the map feels wrong. - Tab or the backpack icon — inventory. Equip from here, not from chat commands.
Bind nothing to auto-clickers. Auto-clickers are how people trip Roblox’s idle flags and how script safety conversations start.
Mobile touch
Play in landscape. Portrait stacks the jump button on the shop.
- Left thumb: virtual stick.
- Right thumb: camera drag plus jump.
- HUD chips: shop, inventory, codes, settings. If a chip is missing, the experience is still loading — wait, then read how to redeem for where Codes hides.
- Pinch is not zoom in every Roblox title. Use the camera drag.
Disable extra Roblox on-screen buttons you do not use (emote wheel) so you do not emote instead of opening a crate. That mis-tap is the number-one mobile complaint in collector lobbies.
Console / gamepad
- Left stick move, right stick camera.
- A / × jump, X / □ interact if the prompt is a proximity prompt.
- View / touchpad for inventory if the HUD button is tiny.
- Keep jump and interact on different faces. If both sit on A, you will hop out of shops.
Console keyboards for codes are slow. Paste is not available. Type from codes one character at a time and watch for extra spaces.
HUD map (what each edge usually means)
Collector HUDs repeat a pattern:
- Left strip: tools, codes, sometimes a Trello-style news button.
- Right strip: shop, passes, inventory.
- Top: currency, luck timer, UPDATE toast.
- Bottom: emotes, jump, Roblox touch controls.
When an UPDATE toast appears, do not swipe it away before you read it. It may contain a code. Screenshot, then visit where to find codes if you missed the spelling.
Camera habits that save knives
- Zoom out on the plaza so you see trade requests coming.
- Zoom in on crate UI so you do not hit the wrong lid.
- If another player’s trail fills the screen, hide names or particles in settings if the toggle exists. 12 trails on a phone is a slideshow.
Common “broken controls” that are not bugs
- Cannot move: you accepted a sit or a pose. Jump. If still stuck, rejoin.
- Cannot open shop: a trade GUI is modal. Cancel the trade. See trading safety.
- Cannot redeem: field is not focused. Tap it, then paste. Guide: how to redeem.
- Swing does nothing: you are in a safe zone or the tool is unequipped. Open inventory.
Once movement is boring, go farm. Controls mastery is a five-minute job. Godlys are not. Continue with how to get godlys and keep starter loadouts open so you know which crate the interact prompt is selling you.
If a video told you to run a “keyboard unlock script”, that is not a control fix. That is an executor. Skip it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the interact key on PC?
Usually E or a direct click on the GUI. If E fails, the prompt is a button, not a proximity prompt. See getting started for HUD location.
Why does jump open my shop on mobile?
Portrait overlap. Switch to landscape and reduce extra Roblox buttons as described above.
Can I use an auto clicker?
We recommend no. It looks like a script to other players and to reports. Farm manually using how to play.
Where is the codes button?
Left or right HUD, sometimes inside Shop. Full steps are on how to redeem.
